Martin Blidner, MD FACP FACR

Dr. Martin Blidner MD, FACR, FACP is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Rheumatology.  Dr. Blidner received his Medical Degree from the University of the East in the Philippines where he graduated valedictorian.  Dr. Blidner completed his internal medicine training at Overlook Hospital in New Jersey and his fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in the field of Rheumatology.

Dr. Blidner was the previous medical director for the Geisinger Medical Group in Wilkes-Barre and The John Heinz Institute for Rehabilitation Medicine.  He has been actively involved in teaching other medical professionals via pharmaceutical programs and training of physician assistants.

Dr. Blidner belongs to the American College of Rheumatology and serves on the staff of several area hospitals.  He previously served on the Wilkes-Barre Board of the Arthritis Foundation and has received the Joseph Lee Hollander Award for Excellence in Rheumatology.
